Senator Seeks Help From Psychic
It seems that politicians sometimes need Psychic guidance for life insight, just like the rest of us!
Recently reported by http://kdka.com/politics/, United States Senator Jane Orie and her sister, Judge Joan Orie Melvin, apparently asked for some help from a strange place after Sen. Orie became the subject of an investigation of corruption.
Affidavits included in the case against Sen. Orie and her sister, Janine Orie, show that Jane and another sister contacted Carolann Sano, a Philadelphia-based clairaudient, last November while under grand juryinvestigation.
They asked her if District Attorney Stephen Zappala would drop the case.
“They went to what they call an ‘angel reader,’ so I would assume, and I don’t know any personally, but I would assume that would be someone who’s tapping into their personal angels, their personal spirit guides, something along that area,” Diana Paar, of Moonstones in Dormont, said.
But is this type of fortune-telling uncommon? Paar says not exactly.
“They are very conservative people, they’re sort of right wing and it just reminded me of Nancy Reagan – Nancy Reagan had an astrologer on staff for years and no one knew about it and so I’m sure they didn’t want people to know about it but it’s perfectly normal and all walks of life look for different ways to have answers,” she said.
KDKA tried to contact Carolann, but messages were not returned.
The “angel lady” could be used against the Ories in this case as prosecutors seek to prove that the Ories were trying to threaten DA Zappala so he would stop his investigation.
William Costopoulous, the attorney representing Sen. Orie, claims the clairvoyant issue is totally irrelevant to this case.
