Oregon Astrologer Hosting “2012 Predictions” Event
Astrologer Johanna Mitchell of Eugene Orgeon is presenting her annual predictions for 2012.
The “Future Signs: The Astrology of 2012” talk will also include forecasts for each sign of the zodiac and Mitchell’s “2012 Highlights” handout.
Mitchell, a resident of the Laurel Hill neighborhood, has lived in Eugene since 1981. She is professionally certified by the American Federation of Astrologers (AFA) and is a graduate of the National Center for Geocentric Research (NCGR) Master Class in Spherical Astronomy and Mathematics. Mitchell has spoken at functions for many astrological organizations including AFA, NCGR, United Astrology Conference, Southwest Astrology Conference, Aquarius Workshops and International Society of Astrological Research (ISAR), and has presented her astrological predictions to the public on television and radio.
According to Mitchell, who has been making annual predictions for the past 30 years, some recent forecasts included:
- the election of Kitty Piercy as Eugene’s mayor before she first announced her candidacy;
- the forecast that water would become a global issue;
- the prediction of Obama winning the presidency;
- the declaration of 2011 as a year of revolution; and
- the emergence of the Tea Party.
The event will be held at Tsunami Books, 2585 Willamette St., Eugene Orgeon on January 7 and 8 from 2-4 p.m. A donation of $10-$15 is requested. All proceeds will benefit Laurel Hill Center’s Immediate Need Fund.
