“Long Island Medium” Season 2 Episode 4: Poor Petey

In this episode of Season 2, for Theresa, talking to spirit is easier than communicating with canines. So when her dog Petey is not acting himself, she brings him to the vet and the visit evolves into more than just a checkup. And, Theresa reads a couple hoping to hear from their son.

Psychic Medium Theresa Caputo describes the process of connecting as “feeling” spirits. She sees shadows and hears voices, but the overwhelming process is the sensory feeling and presence of those wishing to get messages across. Those who have witnessed her readings will attest to her “rapid fire” style and the abundance of significant evidence and messages.

New York “Power” Psychic’s Help The Career Minded

new york psychic reader

New York "Power" Psychic Thomas John (left)

Powerful and successful career-minded New Yorkers are turning to Psychic’s in droves for advice on their careers, love and finances.

As reported by the nypost.com, “power” Psychic Elizabeth Fotinopoulos helps the career minded make money, stay married, and much more.

Elizabeth Fotinopoulos might not be a CEO or an executive, but she sure wields a lot of power. The 64-year-old redhead is a “seer” — i.e., a psychic — and when it comes to her clients, she definitely calls the shots. “I run people’s lives,’’ says Fotinopoulos, who lives with her husband in Dix Hills, LI.

“I run their marriages, help them make money . . . People have changed careers, left relationships or adopted children because I told them to. ’’

Psychic Elizabeth has even convinced some clients to leave New York City to further their careers and financial stability.

“Elizabeth advised me to make a career choice that seemed completely counterintuitive,’’ says George de la Pena, 56, who had been acting in theater and film, but accepted a post running a department at the University of Iowa in 2005.

“I was a die-hard New Yorker, and she wanted me to take a job in the Midwest. I have no doubt that this decision spared me serious financial instability.”

Psychic Reader Elizabeth Fotinopoulos has also been known as a “Celebrity Psychic,” counseling many in the past.

Fotinopoulos says she has consulted with many celebrities, too, claiming she predicted Patrick Swayze’s illness to him in 2007. “He said, ‘Elizabeth, do you think I’m going to beat it?’ I told him no, which he didn’t want to hear, but it gave him a [desire] to really live the end of his life to the fullest.”

However, Psychic Reader Elizabeth Fotinopoulos is just one Psychic in the growing area of “power” Psychic’s that New Yorkers are demanding.

Fotinopoulos is just part of the wave of psychic influence among successful New Yorkers. Some people have become so dependent on psychic consultations, they regularly check online psychic sites.

What’s more, while these clients might ask the usual questions about love and relationships, a lot of the time they’re interested in professional advice and tips about how to do their jobs better.

Lynne White, a 50-something on-air contributor to WNBC, goes to psychic Thomas John to get a handle on her business decisions, as well as her love life. “Thomas sees the future clearly,” she says. “He will also tell me if I should accept an offer or pitch a certain show.”

John says that his business has seen a dramatic bump. “Since last spring, the amount of people who come to see me has doubled. There is a lot of financial anxiety now, and people want to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel.’’

2012 Presidential Election Psychic Predictions

psychic predictions 2012 presidential election

A recent article for Taro-Politico series covers Psychic Tarot Card Reading Predictions for the 2012 Presidential Race and Republican primary.

As reported by huffingtonpost.com, 2012 will prove to be an exciting year and not disappoint!

In this overview spread for 2012, the card in the center signifies the general theme of the upcoming year. The World card is auspicious, representing happiness, wholeness, consummate success, fulfillment, and attainment. It is a card of dreams coming true, and it speaks to the completion of a cycle or culmination of a phase. In the wake of all the protests that occurred around the globe in 2011, it’s hard not to read this card as an indication that we have witnessed a watershed moment for human rights.

Moving from the sublime to the ridiculous, how will the 2012 presidential race unfold? The spread above is laid out like a clock, with the 1 position representing January. The Ten of Pentacles points to some positive economic influences in 2012 that could help President Obama’s bid for re-election. I’m not predicting a full economic recovery — I’m still seeing changes shaking things up, and one could be dramatic. However, there will be genuine economic bright spots too this year, and that should lift people’s spirits.

The Six of Wands could spell a victory in February for Obama if the GOP once again holds the payroll tax holiday extension hostage.

The Hanged Man and the Death card indicate that the Republican race for the nomination will continue to careen through a series of reversals and transformations right up until August, when restless, reckless Republicans will grudgingly get in line behind their nominee. The Four of Swords in October points to a lack of enthusiasm among the electorate as they prepare to go to the polls in early November.

Is it possible that a third-party candidate appears this late?

I don’t know that he’ll actually take the plunge, but the cards above point to a ready and willing Ron Paul. Rep. Paul is represented here by the King of Swords, and his son, Sen. Rand Paul, by the inverted Knight of Swords. These cards indicate that Paul’s son, Rand, might be among some key players discouraging his father from running as a third-party candidate. The inverted Fool card covering Ron Paul indicates that the Republican establishment would view his potential third-party candidacy as extremely reckless and threatening to the GOP’s chances of taking the White House. The Ten of Cups in the Outcome position says that Ron Paul will probably forgo a third-party run in order to keep peace in the Republican family.

Is Romney really going to win the Republican nomination?

Romney is often described as the “inevitable” nominee, yet “inevitability”seems ironically elusive, always just out of reach. We’ve all heard the theories about why Romney can’t seal the deal: he’s a flip-flopper; Republican primary voters are skeptical of his conservative credentials and suspicious of his Mormon faith; not only is Romneycare too much like Obamacare, but Romney’s moderate temperament is too much like Obama’s. Those are the standard theories, but the cards offer an alternative theory with a surprising psychological twist. The Four of Cups says that, although Romney gives every appearance of wanting desperately to be president, he is actually more conflicted than he looks.

Romney is not just your average family man. While many politicians pay lip service to the idea that “family is my first priority,” for Romney those words are true in a profound way, the cards indicate. Deep down, Romney has serious concerns about how his potential presidency could affect his family. But, even if he is a bit conflicted, what Romney has going for him is the money and organization to outlast this weak Republican field. If current trends continue, it may take Romney until August, but he will probably eventually grind out a victory and become the Republican nominee.

Will President Obama manage to win re-election in 2012?

Since early September, when I did my first reading on what Americans want in a leader in 2012, the King of Cups has been coming up. Scroll back up to the photo at the top of this post and notice how the King of Cups makes his appearance in September in the 2012 overview spread I began with. The King of Cups card continually points to the voters’ wish for a leader who is “all heart.” They want someone who feels their pain and, most of all, they want a champion of the middle class in the White House. I got this intuitive sense of the electorate’s hopes early in September and it was soon confirmed by the the birth of the Occupy Wall Street movement a couple weeks later. The electorate is sending a message; let those who have ears hear.

If President Obama wholeheartedly champions the middle class, I believe he will win the 2012 election, but I see his victory hinging entirely on his ability to come across as fighting for average Americans. The tone he struck with his speech in Kansas earlier this month showed that he can craft a message that positions him as a patriotic uniter and not a “class warfare” divider. His message in Kansas needs to be the message of his campaign: “I believe that this country succeeds when everyone gets a fair shot, when everyone does their fair share, and when everyone plays by the same rules. Those aren’t Democratic or Republican values; 1% values or 99% values. They’re American values, and we have to reclaim them.” Look to hear more of that kind of talk from President Obama in 2012…

Local Psychic Offers Readings By Name

psychic readings by name

A local Psychic Reader Rebecca Bartlett uses the names of her clients to start off a reading.

As recently reported by idsnews.com, what’s in a name? For professional Psychic Reader Rebecca Bartlett her clients names are just the beginning to her readings.

“Can you say your name out loud for me?” she said.

She writes it down on the small sheet of wide-ruled lined paper on her clipboard and lightly traces the letters with the tips of her fingers. The process begins.

“I just get a name and start describing,” she said.

Bartlett has been working for five years as a professional psychic, but she has been making predictions since she was 16. Now in her early 40s, Bartlett has learned to harness her abilities for what she hopes is the greater good.

She has an office in Nashville and returned to Bloomington this February after a brief leave of absence. She contemplated returning to her home state of California, but changed her mind. She wanted to make travel more convenient for Bloomington residents, who make up about half of her clientele. Her new office is in the Fountain Square Mall, where she said she always keeps a vase of fresh roses.

Psychic Reader Rebecca Bartlett’s office differs from that of most local Psychic Readers.

Visitors won’t find any tarot cards lying around Bartlett’s office, and she doesn’t wear a headscarf or rub a crystal ball. Her goal is not to entertain her clients. She wants to help them.

“There is a life saving benefit to this,” she said. “This is not entertainment. It goes way beyond that.”

During her sessions she conducts a body scan, in which she asks the client to completely relax and close his or her eyes. She snaps her fingers and waves her hands in space around the client’s body, listing possible medical conditions or abnormalities she senses. But she doesn’t diagnose or heal — she just describes symptoms and leaves the rest to science and medicine.

“It is more scientific for me, but the results that are achieved are absolutely
spiritual,” she said.

Psychic Bartlett is currently authoring a book, outlining her personal journey as a Psychic Reader.

For the past three years, Bartlett has been writing a book about her personal journey, explaining how she has battled the negative stereotypes that taint her profession and the critics that mock her gift.

“I have no choice in the matter. I was born this way,” she said. “For me, it’s more of a mission to aid humanity and solve the world’s mysteries than end up on Montel. I don’t tell people what I do when I meet them. Usually I just say I am a counselor or life coach.”

She said when she first gained awareness of her abilities, she would have bouts of déjà vu and dream about natural and man-made disasters that would come true, usually within three days. They were in places she had never heard of involving people she did not know.

She couldn’t ignore them, and even though she tried to obtain a degree at IU and occupy other jobs in the work force, she could never shake the urge to share her predictions. So she decided to turn her ability into her occupation.

Psychic Reader Rebecca Bartlet seems confident that anyone can learn to be more in tune with their surroundings and gain some Psychic ability.

“With the proper training, receptivity and concentration, everybody can learn to pay more attention to their own self purposes,” she said. “Some people have said this is a gift. For me, it is both a gift and an ability.”

But she said it can be a burden, too — one that takes a great toll on her both mentally and physically.

“It’s an intense mental exertion,” she said. “It’s like studying for a final exam in a subject you don’t enjoy.”

Because of this, she averages about one and a half clients per day. She makes a modest living, but she said she is OK with that. She isn’t in it for the money.

“I still stick to myself,” she said. “There is a certain justice that underlies this occupation. You can think of me as a witness to unveiling key events.”

2012 Psychic Predictions: Georgia Psychic Predicts “Big Changes”

2012 Psychic Predictions Georgia Psychic

A Georgia Psychic’s 2012 Predictions involve “2012 will be a year of great changes in every area of physical existence.”

As recently reported by eporternewspapers.net, Georgia Psychic Timothy Smith is predicting “big changes” in 2012.

Lately, he said, revelations have taken a gloomy turn. He says the world in 2012 is at “a tipping point.”

“2012 will be a year of great changes in every area of physical existence,” he said in a recent press release. “However, most people will not notice the intensity of these changes until they try to rely on old systems and find that everything has collapsed.

“This is the beginning of the ‘Great Culmination,’ when everything changes. 2012 will not be the end of the world as people have been predicting, but the beginning of a new world consciousness.”

A headline on the release says, “Atlanta’s premier psychic comes out of retirement to talk about 2012.” Smith said he’s opening himself to public attention again after years of working with a small group that is getting smaller.

“My people are getting old. We’ve lost so many. When I was 18, they were 50. We have some young people,” he said, but he would like to see perhaps 40 people at the Saturday night events rather than the 20 who attend now.

And, he offers hope. The coming changes – the “death throes of a cosmic cycle that has escalated out of control,” he said in his press release – can still be fixed by prayer and meditation.

“I’m not a prophet of doom,” he said. “I’m just thinking this is not very good on a physical level. The best you can do is pray about it. But big changes are coming.”

Q&A With Psychic “Long Island Medium”

psychic long island medium

With the second season of the hit series TLC’s “Long Island Medium” underway, the New York Post recently sat down with the popular Psychic Reader for a Question & Answer session (as reported by nypost.com).

We caught up with Caputo to ask her a few questions:

Q: Do you see dead people?
A: Yes, but in a different way than you would think.

Q: How old were you when you first started hearing [from the dead]?
A: I can remember the age of four. I couldn’t sleep away from own house when I was a child. I would have these night terrors, but now [I know] it was spirits trying to communicate with me.

Q: How does it all work?
A: I don’t know how it works. I can’t explain it. Things are just there.

Q: Do spirits actually speak to you?
A: Sometimes I hear things clear as day. My main communication is through feeling.

Q: Do you ever expect the reaction you get from people?
A: Even if people believe or understand what I do and they come for a reading a lot of times they will leave saying, “I never expected it to be like that.” My wish, for someone who is placed in my path, is [that] I want them to have the experience or the message that will give them the most healing to be able to continue and to move on with their life without their loved ones.

Q: It appears your husband puts up with a lot?
A: I’ve been with my husband since I was 18 and he watched me go through my anxiety and how it was progressively getting worse and when I first told him … I speak to dead people and I feel better … he was like, “Hey if that makes you feel better go ahead, hon. Knock yourself out.”

Q: Are there times when it’s not a gift?
A: Yeah, because I feel anxious a lot for no reason. People always say I wish, “I was you, I wish I could do what you do,” and I always say be careful what you wish for because I’m just blessed because of … the love and support I have of my family that I really am able to be who I am.
