Kristen Stewart May Play Psychic Medium “Kei” In Akira Movie

 

In a recent news, it has been revealed by Collider that Twilight star Kristen Stewart may possibly play a Psychic Medium in a new sci-fi movie based on the 1988 anime movie “Akira”.

She’s reportedly been offered the lead role of character Kei in a new sci-fi movie that’s due to start filming this spring. The film is set in the future city of New Manhattan, and follows the character Kaneda, who is the leader of a biker gang tasked with the responsibility of saving his friend Tetsuo, who has potentially destructive psychokinetic abilities from government medical experiments.

Kristen’s character Kei is a young Psychic Medium who becomes the love interest for Kaneda. The filming is reportedly set to begin in the spring of 2012.

Hopefully Kristen can take the role of Psychic Medium Kei, in what should be an amazing movie.
